The HTC U11’s specs is very much confirmed

HTC is set to unveil its new U11 flagship in another five days, and like most smartphones before the official launch, the phone’s specs have managed to find its way online and has been spotted on GFXBench. For what we know now, the U11 will feature a squeezeable edge for performing certain functions, and the screenshot from GFXBench has confirmed a few hardware, the U11 will be using a Snapdragon 835 processor, 64GB of storage and a 15-megapixel front camera, the phone’s RAM however remains questionable as the screenshot merely shows 4GB (with 400MB reserved memory), which is different from the rumored 6GB RAM.

Codenamed Ocean, the HTC U11 is the smartphone that many have been waiting the company to unveil, though the company has announced two HTC U smartphones early this year, they are hardly considered as flagships for the hardware they come with. Nonetheless, the U11 is set to be the company’s hero product for this year, and it really needs more than just having squeezable edges to challenge the Galaxy S8, May 16 is the date that we will be keeping tabs on HTC’s live stream, so stay tuned.
