Life can be tough sometimes when you badly need a good performing smartphone and not having much budget to spend, and all thanks to the Minister of Communications and Digital, Fahmi Fadzi, you can get the Honor 90 Lite 5G for just RM120 when you sign up for 60GB of Internet data for RM60/month from the telco of your choice.
Usually priced at RM1,099, the Honor 90 Lite 5G is a pretty good-looking device and comes with decent internals that will fulfill the essential smartphone tasks, it is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 6020 chipset mated to 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage, while offering a 6.7-inch 60Hz FHD+ IPS display, triple cameras of 100MP wide, 5MP ultrawide and 2MP macro cameras, front 16MP camera, and 4500mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging.
Despite this announcement from Honor Malaysia, we have yet to see telcos putting up the said Pakej 5G Rahmah plans as it will only be available starting 31st August 2023, it is also unclear if this offer is being extended to all Malaysians or just for B40 income group individuals, as according to the FAQ here by bantuanrakyat.my, only the first 100,000 B40 income group customers are eligible to pay RM120 for the phone.
