The Galaxy Tab S8 series will be updated with Android 12L

Although the Galaxy Tab S8 series come preloaded with Android 12 and One UI 4.1, it still isn’t the best version that has been optimized for big screens, and Samsung confirms that it will update these flagship tablets to Android 12L at a later time.

Android 12L will have improved multitasking experiences for larger screens and foldables, such as an improved split screen view, a task bar for faster multitasking and a revamped notifications tray.

While Samsung has done exceptionally well with DeX on its tablets, which essentially transforms the user interface into a PC desktop like interface, the update is expected to bring further enhancements to that experience and we definitely can’t wait to see what Samsung will do with it.

At this point of time, Google has yet to release Android 12L and the Galaxy Tab S8 series should receive a major One UI update when the time comes.

The Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra can now be purchase in Malaysia, which can be purchased online at Samsung’s website.
