The Galaxy Tab S4 may come with an in screen fingerprint reader

While most of us thought Samsung has given up on making high end tablets, it seems that we are going to see the Galaxy Tab S4 from the company this year, as a leaked official render has reached Android Headlines, the tablet seems to have thinner bezels and there’s no fingerprint scanner to be found on the front, which could suggest that a in-screen fingerprint reader could be used for security.

Samsung’s tablet releases haven’t gotten much highlight in recent times, however we should expect Samsung to announce the Tab S4 in its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, which the company has already teased the arrival of the Galaxy Note 9 last week. Like its predecessor, the tablet could also be using last generation’s hardware such as a Snapdragon 835, 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, still good for running modern Android apps and games. The Tab S4 should presumably come with better sounding AKG-tuned speakers, and will be compatible with the S-Pen like its predecessor.

Android tablets haven’t been keeping up the game like what Apple has done with the iPad, and while Google has shifted its focus to Chromebooks to challenge Apple, which is more of a computing device rather than a laptop, its good to know that companies like Samsung are still producing high end tablets like this that some folks will appreciate.
