The Galaxy Note 6 to feature a Lite version

A projected early launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 isn’t going to stop overwhelming rumors of the device from reaching us. This time, a rumor originating from Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo tells us that Samsung is working on a variant of the Galaxy Note 6, dubbed as a “Lite” version. It seems more like a theory than of a solid basis, but let’s dive into it anyway.

First off, the Galaxy Note 6’s specs include a 5.8-inch QHD display, a Snapdragon 823 processor with 4 or 6GB or RAM underneath the hood. The Lite variant on the other hand, isn’t a letdown as well, with the handset rumored to be sporting a slightly toned down 1080p resolution 5.8-inch screen instead of QHD. The Note 6 Lite is also said to pack a Snapdragon 820 SoC, the go-to processor for most flagship smartphones this year.

The Galaxy Note 6 Lite is also said to be powered by a slightly smaller battery than that in the Note 6, since the device will only feature a Full HD screen. Do bear in mind that this is only a mere speculation, but speculations do turn out to be true sometimes, don’t they? Let us know your thoughts at the comments section below!
