The DJI Spark is one cute little drone that measures as tall as a can of Coke with great imaging capabilities, who would have known that DJI has worked alongside with LINE to feature BROWN, one of the LINE FRIENDS characters, on the drone’s exterior, the box has also been themed with the LINE FRIENDS design, and DJI has surprisingly maintained the price at $399 (RM1,626) by bundling a remote control, which doesn’t come in the Spark’s original retail package.
Sporting a 12MP f/2.6 camera sensor, the DJI Spark uses a 2-axis gimbal to stabilize shots and has the ability to shoot videos up to 1080p at 30fps. The Spark has a flight time of up to 16 minutes on a single charge and can fly as fast as 50km/h in Sport mode, it is DJI’s first drone that lets you control using hand gestures, such as taking a selfie. Also, the Spark also features a set of intelligent flight modes that aren’t available on DJI’s higher end drones.
