“The Crew 2” is free-to-play this week, includes Demolition Derby mode

From 13 to 17 December 2018, gamers are able to play “The Crew 2” for free on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The Crew 2 is a racing game unlike any other that allows you to travel at an unsafe speed from coast to coast, drive road vehicles however you like, be it on water, land or even through air.

In order to play the game for free, console owners would have to own either a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription to take part in the free-play weekend. As for PC players, there’s no subscription needed and players could pre-load the game via Uplay.

The full game will be available for players when they play the free trial, which includes PvP mode as well as the new Demolition Derby mode. Should the players want to purchase the full game after trying the free game, any progress done through the game from the free trial would then be carried over to the full game. Players are also able to buy the digital version of The Crew 2 at a discounted rate.

For players who participates in the free weekend play, they will be entitled to get a free in-game car by Ubisoft. The car given to the players depends on which platform they play the game in, for example, if the player plays the game on Xbox One then they will get
BMW Z4 GT3 2011, whereas if they play the game on PlayStation 4, they will get Maserati Gran Turismo S 2009 (Touring Car Edition), and on PC, they will get Ford GT 2005 (Touring Car Edition).
