Want to keep on the go PC gaming a little more swag? ASUS Malaysia has brought in the long awaited ROG Flow Z13 gaming tablet, announced back in CES 2022, it is the most powerful gaming tablet that’s powered by 12th Gen Intel processors and up to a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti graphics, and all of that is packed into a 12mm thin form factor that weighs a mere 1.1kg.
The ROG Flow Z13 is inspired by the original ROG Mothership, which took the gaming industry quite a storm back then, it continues to feature a Surface Pro-like form factor with a detachable keyboard and houses all of its components behind the screen.
In terms of cooling, the ROG Flow Z13 lacks a hinge mechanism allows for a wider vapor chamber and larger fans in the chassis, paired with liquid metal thermal compound, ASUS claims that the tablet’s fans can stop spinning when it doesn’t require the power but when it spins up, fan noise should still remain below 40dB, which is an incredible engineering feat that no other gaming brands have achieved.
In terms of specs, the ROG Flow Z13 will come in Core i7 and i9 variants with 16GB of dual channel LPDDR5 RAM, customers can opt between a Full HD 120Hz or 4K 60Hz 13.4-inch panel variant with both being Dolby Vision HDR certified and Pantone Validated displays, storage will start from a 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, while an 8MP main camera and 720P webcam will come as standard on all variants.
The ROG Flow Z13 can now be purchased from the price of RM7,999 for the Core i7-12700H variants.
The top of the line Core i9-12900H model with a 4K display and RTX 3050Ti graphics will cost RM15,999, which is bundled with the ROG XG Mobile station that’s equipped with a desktop RTX 3080 GPU and for a limited time, ASUS is also throwing in a ROG Delta headset when you purchase this variant starting April 2022 onwards.
