The Alcatel Pixi 4 Plus Power's name speaks for itself

Just by looking at its name, one can clearly tell what the Alcatel Pixi 4 Plus Power specializes in – power. Though the Pixi 4 Plus Power may be an entry level smartphone, but on paper, its battery life might turn out to be one of the best in the competition.

For starters, the Alcatel Pixi 4 Plus Power sports a 5.5-inch IPS display in 720p resolution. Underneath the hood is an unspecified and unnamed processor alongside 1GB of RAM and a measly 8GB of onboard memory, expandable up to an extra 32GB via the micro SD slot. On the camera side of things, the Pixi 4 Plus Power features a 13MP rear camera, and a 5MP front facing selfie shooter, both of which are equipped with an LED flash.

The main highlight of the phone is of course, its battery, boasting a capacity of 5,000mAh. That is way more than most smartphones out there in the market. Alcatel claims the Pixi 4 Plus Power to last 2.7 days on a single charge. The handset supports charging as well, twice the speed of traditional charging. Not only that, the phone doubles up as a powerbank as well, if you need to charge other devices.

That’s about it for now. No word from Alcatel on the phone’s availability or its price. Would you opt for an entry level device for the sake of its battery life?
