Take a look at the Xperia Z5 Compact's successor – the Xperia X Compact

Sony has been busy since they ditched the Xperia Z lineup, very much like cleaning and tidying up the room of a hoarder. The Japanese manufacturer started off afresh with the new Xperia X series, to keep up with the rest of the competition, having laid the all the Z’s to rest. Sony has been producing compact versions of their flagships over the last few years, and it looks like the idea has stayed put with this render of the Xperia X Compact.

The leaked render is none other by your favorite leak source and tipster Evan Blass. Once again, Blass has uploaded yet another render of the phone, claiming it to be of the Xperia X Compact. By the looks of it, the design of the Xperia X Compact still retains a very Sony look, since it’s basically just a compact variant and not a different model. It’s definitely hard to call bluff on this one with the usual rectangular design, with huge bezels on the top and bottom of the screen, coupled with the fact that it is from Blass himself.

On that note, we haven’t heard much noise about the Xperia X Compact’s specs. What we can be somewhat certain about is the handset’s screen will be less than 5 inches, or 4.6 inches, like its predecessors the Z3 Compact and the Z5 Compact. We’re also expecting this guy to unveil himself at the upcoming IFA 2016 at Berlin. Till then, stay tuned!
