Earlier this year, popular US carrier T-Mobile unveiled its own smartphone – the Revvl, which was priced at a very budget $150 price tag. The Revvl does definitely sound like an entry level device, especially with its 5.5-inch 720p HD display. The company has now added another device to its own collection, and features a slightly upgraded spec sheet, with a small increase in price.
The T-Mobile Revvl Plus has been announced by the carrier, and it looks larger in size. The phone sports a 6-inch display on the front at Full HD 1080p resolution. T-Mobile isn’t going with the tide of 18:9 display smartphones just yet, with the the Revvl Plus’ screen at a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio. Underneath the hood is an unnamed octa core processor clocked at 2 GHz, with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Storage can be expanded via the provided micro SD slot.
T-Mobile did follow another trend however, by equipping the Revvl Plus with a dual rear camera setup. The setup is a 13MP + 5MP combo, which is capable of producing photos with bokeh effects. The front facing camera of 8 megapixels shouldn’t be a slouch as well for capturing selfies. The phone packs a 3,380mAh battery, but unfortunately features a micro USB port for charging.
The T-Mobile Revvl Plus will remain a carrier exclusive device to the said carrier, and carries a price tag of $200. Sounds like a very decent buy for the money that one will pay. Thoughts?
