Were you jealous of the fact that Nintendo and Mario will be coming to iOS later this year? If so, we have some good news for you. Nintendo has revealed that Super Mario Run will be made available for Android smartphones as well.
According to Nintendo, Super Mario Run will be making its way to Android as well, although it will come after it is first released on the Apple App Store. As for timeline, Nintendo mentions that the company will “release the game on Android devices at some point in the future,” which means that your guess is as good as ours as to when Super Mario Run will actually be available for download on the Android Play store.
Seeing as Super Mario Run is currently scheduled for a Holiday release, this means that the Android version of the game probably won’t be available until 2017 at the earliest. Of course, it could be possible that the game will launch shortly (if not simultaneously) after the iOS version goes live, but we wouldn’t bet on that possibility.
