Sunway Pyramid has recently announced on their Facebook page that they are currently testing on a new way of improving traffic flow in their mall by installing “Car Park License Plate Recognition System” into their mall’s parking. If proven successful, that means shoppers don’t need to take a car park ticket or use parking access card to enter the mall.
Followed by their announcement was a video that shows their followers how the license plate recognition system works. According to Sunway, the license plate recognition system is proven fast and convenient which helps in reducing entry and exit time, allowing shoppers to avoid traffic in the mall especially during the weekends.
Other than being fast, convenient, and require no tickets, Sunway did not mention further. It is only said that they will update more on their page once the pilot test has been completed. So for now, we shall wait patiently and wait for their next announcement.
