Spotify now available for Android TV

Popular music streaming app Spotify wasn’t exactly available for Android TV. But rather, the app was exclusively supported by the NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV set-top box. Nevertheless, Spotify is now officially available to Android TV’s that are compatible with the app.

If not obvious enough, Spotify still comes out on top of the likes of Deezer and the premium TIDAL app, whose flamed hypes dimmed down after its initial launch, and a controversy or two. Spotify for Android TV should pretty much work like on any other app platform. The usual Browse tab for you to discover fresh playlists or recommended artists plus a search bar for you to scavenge the music world for artists, albums and genres.

If you’re not a premium user, you’re likely to be annoyed and bugged by the constant audio commericals in between songs. Premium subscription is pretty much worth it for ad-free listening. Anyone here a regular Spotify user?
