Spotify is now integrated into Google Maps for seamless music listening

Most of you are probably using your Spotify when driving around in your car and at the same time, using Google Maps to make sure you don’t get lost on your way to your destination. If you fall into this category of people, then you will be happy to know that Google and Spotify have finally come together to bring the music streaming app to Google Maps.

Some of you might know that this feature has been available on Waze for quite a while now, but it is great news for those of you that prefer Maps over Waze. Spotify users can now enable playback controls within Google Maps, allowing you to listen to music and podcasts during an active navigation. They have also made switching and selecting music more seamless and there will be a banner in Spotify that will return you to Maps navigation.

This new feature will be rolling out to Google Maps users over the next few days, so make sure your Google Maps and Spotify is updated and both the accounts have been linked.
