We know that some of you prefer to hook up a controller to your phone for a much better gaming experience. We if you are some of the people that own an Xperia phone you are in luck. Sony has just announced the X Mount accessory that is designed to attached Xperia phones to a DualShock 4 controller so you can easily utilize the Remote Play feature on the PS4 console.
Now, it might seem like the mount is meant for Xperia phones only, but if you take a closer look, it just looks like a clamp that we have seen in a lot of phone holders. So we would assume that if the clamp can be widened, it could, in theory, fit almost any phone. Linking the DualShock 4 controller to an Android phone is actually pretty easy, as you will just need to pair the controller to your phone, it is as easy as connecting your phone to Bluetooth speakers and we have already seen other devices and accessories that come with a controller pad and mount. With the X Mount, you can use the DS4 to easily play your games.
The mount will be available in Japan starting June, but no other information like price or if it will be released to the international market as well.
