Xperia Blog has reported that it is confirmed that Sony has pulled a temporal plug on the Nougat update for the devices mentioned earlier. Sony has in fact issued a statement to the Xperia exclusive news outlet, stating that some users have been experiencing “inconsistencies” related to audio playback via 3rd party apps and SD card encrypted data read performance after upgrading their software to Android 7.0 Nougat.

According to Xperia Blog, some users initially came across the update which disappeared after a while. Seems like Sony was pretty quick to stop further rollouts to the remaining Nougat eligible devices.
