Smartphone by Android co-founder to be announced on May 30th

We all do know that the co-founder of Android is making something extraordinary behind the scenes. Andy Rubin’s relatively new company Essential has been rumored to be working on a smartphone for a while now and Rubin has also teased the device not too long back. Rubin has finally revealed a possible date in which we might expect the announcement of his company’s first ever phone.

Essential’s Twitter account saw its first post stating:

Hi, welcome to our Twitter page. We’re here to let you know something big is coming May 30th! Stay tuned…

This particular Tweet was posted just 2 hours ago at the time of writing. It is pretty likely that we will witness the unveiling of Essential’s phone this coming May 30th. The recent image teaser of the phone by Rubin shows the handset with very minimal bezels surrounding a display with curved sides. The design seems very similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the LG G6. It has also been confirmed that the phone will run on Android as rumored.

Hopefully, the Essential handset will be just as exciting as Google’s Pixel/Nexus phones. The teasers and rumors seem promising thus far, so keep your eyes peeled.
