smart #1 EV launched in Malaysia from RM189k

Today, Malaysia welcomes the arrival of the smart #1 (Hashtag One) EV, available in three variants: Pro, Premium, and Brabus. Each model is built on Geely’s Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, shared with the Zeekr X and Volvo EX30.

All variants share a common design language, but differ in features. The Pro model boasts CyberSparks LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, a power tailgate, and more. The Premium and Brabus models add Matrix LED headlights, automatic headlight functions, and unique exterior lighting features, including a kick sensor in the power tailgate. The Premium has 19-inch rotor alloy wheels, while the Brabus features 19-inch dynamo alloy wheels and a Brabus body kit.

Inside, the smart #1 offers a 9.2-inch digital cluster, a 12.8-inch infotainment screen, dual-zone climate control, and a panoramic halo roof, among other features. The Pro has a five-speaker system, while Premium and Brabus have a 13-speaker Beats system and additional luxuries.

Upholstery varies by model, with the Pro featuring leatherette seats, and the Brabus sporting ultra-suede seats and a Brabus-themed interior. Performance-wise, the Pro and Premium have a single motor, while the Brabus uses a dual-motor setup, offering different power outputs and driving modes. The Pro has a 315km range, the Premium 440km, and the Brabus 400km, all with varying battery sizes.

Each model includes Level 2+ ADAS and numerous safety features, with the Premium and Brabus offering additional parking and beam features. The 2023 smart #1 models are priced at RM189,000, RM219,000, and RM249,000, with various color options and roofing styles available.
