Shopee services to continue during movement restrictions with zero delivery fee

Shopee has announced that shipping services will continue during the movement control order issued by PM Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

This comes after the likes of Grab and Foodpanda also ensuring the rakyat that it’s business as usual from them. This doesn’t come as a surprise since postal services around the country are not halted despite the restrictions – postal services are, of course, too important to cease operating; meanwhile food delivery and online shopping services are important too to help people get what they need while maintaining social distancing.

On Shopee of course, you can get essential items like canned food, face masks, and even the newly added category of fresh produce! Next-day delivery will be offered to customers within Klang Valley and Southern Malaysia which is applicable for orders made on the Shopee Mart by 10am every day. On top of that, Shopee will also continue to free shipping during this period.

We need to point out that the restrictive movement order does not mean the end of the world, and by the end of March, things will resume as normal. So for now, remember to fight the virus by practicing proper hygiene and social distancing.
