Seagate introduces a hard drive with a capacity of 10TB

News coming from Seagate’s side has been…rather depressing lately, but let’s focus on something positive this time. 10TB hard drives are usually limited to those who work in servers, but today, Seagate has officially revealed a 10TB hard drive that is meant to be used for the desktop.

Called the Barracuda Pro, this 3.5″ hard drive is made to be slotted into your desktop machine. It comes with the aforementioned 10TB of storage at 7200 RPM, allowing you to stuff all your games, hi-res audio files and 4K movies with tons of space left to spare.

If 10TB of storage sounds right up the alley for you, be prepared to but a hole in your pocket as the Barracuda Pro isn’t exactly what we would consider “affordable.” The Barracuda Pro 10TB will have an asking price of USD535 (RM 2,150).
