SanDisk introduces the new iXpand Flash Drive to Malaysia

To those of you who lament over the storage space of your iPhones and iPads, we have good news for you. Today, SanDisk has revealed the new iXpand Flash Drive, a flash drive that is tailor made for both the iPhone and iPad.

Available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities, the iXpand Flash Drive is a mobile storage device designed to help people quickly and easily free up space on their iDevices. The flash drive itself sports a new, modern design that fits with most iPhone and iPad cases, as well as a USB 3.0 connector for faster transfer speeds to Mac or PCs.

One of the key features of the iXpand Flash Drive is the app that accompanies it. With this app, iDevice users are able to transfer, backup and even copy files from their devices to the drive with ease. Prices for the iXpand Flash Drive begins at RM179 for the 16GB variant with the 128GB variant costing RM529.

For the microSD card line, SanDisk has revealed the SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDXC USH-II card which enables action camera, drone and smartphone users to offload huge video files at unprecedented speeds. Available in 64GB and 128GB capacities, the SanDisk Extreme PRO is capable of delivering 275MB/s transfer speeds, allowing you to offload your Full HD and 4K Ultra HD videos within minutes. The SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDXC USH-II card will be available in Q2 2016 for RM599 (64GB) and RM1,199 (128GB)

Finally, SanDisk also has the Ultra USB Type-C Flash Drive that is designed specifically for next-generation devices. Featuring a powerful and versatile USB Type-C connector, the Ultra USB Type-C Flash Drive has comes in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants and is able to transfer files at a rate of 150MB/s, making this device SanDisk’s fastest and highest capacity USB Type-C offering. The SanDisk Ultra USB Type-C Flash Drive is now available for RM49 (16GB), RM69 (32GB), RM109 (64GB), and RM169 (128GB).
