Samsung’s Galaxy A70, with its massive 6.7-inch display and 4,500mAh battery, is now available in Malaysia

It’s here – the much-anticipated mid-ranger from Samsung has hit the shelves in Malaysia. The phone in question is the Samsung Galaxy A70, which was announced alongside the Galaxy A80 a month ago.

For a device that has a sub-RM2000 price tag, the Galaxy A70 packs some impressive specs. The phone comes with a massive 6.7-inch Infinity-U display with a drop-notch that houses the phone’s impressive 32MP selfie camera.

At the back is a triple-camera setup (32MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 5MP depth sensor) that’s mounted on a 3D Glasstic body. Under the hood is an octa-core processor along with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. With these specs, the Galaxy A70 looks to be a capable device that’s worthy of being anyone’s daily driver.

Powering the device is a massive 4,500mAh battery that supports fast 25W charging via USB-C. The A70 also comes with an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and it runs on Android 9 while sporting Samsung’s much-lauded One UI.

In Malaysia, the phone will only be available in three colours – blue, black and white, and is priced at RM1,999. You can purchase the phone at all Samsung Experience stores and autohrised dealers nationwide.
