Samsung’s FrameTV will double as an artwork

Samsung has always been known for taking out beautiful TVs that fits your home along side your furniture and now, the company included FrameTV which idea is to double as an art piece. This TV comes with LCD, UHD panel, Tizen OS smart TV features and a wall-mounting system that Samsung says you do not need to hire someone to mount it for you.

What makes the TV more appealing is that the company worked with famed Swiss industrial designer Yves Behar, who is the curator of some of the artwork you can display on the TV in ‘art mode’. The TV comes with 100 art pieces preloaded with categories ranging from landscape, action, architecture, drawings and wildlife and of course you can upload your own images via USB. The frame of the TV can even be change and art mode lets you change the border colours for each art piece, combined with a sensor in the TV, it can adjust the brightness depending on the lighting of the room, making digital images look like they are printed out.

The FrameTV will be available in 55 and 65 inch when it starts shipping in early June, sadly there is no announcement on the pricing of the TV but expect to hear some news when the shipping date comes closer.
