Samsung’s Bixby voice assistant is now available in over 200 countries

Samsung Galaxy S8 users will be happy to know that the Bixby voice assistant is now globally available after expanding it to over 200 countries. Initially, some owners were disappointed that the assistant did not come with the S8 and will only be available later on. Samsung did roll out a preview version of the assistant in June but it still lacked many features that the company mention it could do.

This rollout is limited to owners of the S8 and S8+ but they will be bringing Bixby to more devices in the future sadly, they did not mention the devices that will get the assistant. There have been rumours that indicate the assistant will not only come to phones as Samsung is planning to release a smart speaker with Bixby enabled. Other than that, they also said that they are working on bringing more languages to the assistant and ways to integrate it with other third-party apps.

If you are owners of the phones, then you can check out the voice assistant in your phones. Just make sure that you are on the latest software update and the Bixby app is up to date.
