While nobody is quite sure if ASUS will indeed be announcing the Zenwatch 3 at the end of the month, Samsung has been a bit more direct as they have announced that they will be announcing a new wearable device on the 31st of August.

The image used for this event is that of an abstracted round clock face with the caption “Talk about 3.” Putting these two together, it is easy to draw a conclusion that Samsung will be revealing this year’s iteration of the company’s own smartwatch. Of course, Samsung has not explicitly said that it would be announcing the Gear S3.
Barely any information about the supposed Gear S3 has been leaked so far, so no one really knows what to expect of the device, but if the image is to be believed, we can at the very least expect that the Gear S3 will retain the shape of the Gear S2. Samsung’s announcement will take place on the 1st of September at 12am local time.
