Samsung will launch the Galaxy S8 on the 29th of March in New York

After months worth of rumours, Samsung has finally pinned down a date for its upcoming Galaxy S8 launch and it will be on the 29th of March.

On that day, Samsung will be hosting an Unpacked event that will be held at New York. While Samsung will only reveal more details about the S8 and the S8+ at the event, the rumours that have been leaked thus far has revealed quite a few things about Samsung’s next flagship phone. For one, we know that the S8 units will not come with a Home Button. Storage-wise, the S8 is expected to come with UFS 2.1 storage. The S8 is also rumoured to come with the company’s own A.I. called Bixby. For specifications, rumours are going around that some models of the S8 will sport the brand new Exynos 9 processor with up to 8GB of RAM.

Seeing as there’s still a whole month left before the S8 gets revealed proper, do expect more leaks about the phone as the launch date approaches.
