Samsung will launch the Galaxy S22 in the Decentraland metaverse

Virtual tech launches aren’t new since the pandemic happened, as the Galaxy S22 and Tab S8 series is about to be unveiled today, Samsung has made a rather interesting move by letting users experience the Galaxy Unpacked experience in the Decentraland metaverse.

Decentraland is a 3D virtual world web browser platform where it allows users to purchase assets and land as an NFT, we are unsure if you can actually purchase any Gaalxy S22 related NFT in its virtual world, there should be something in store for NFT collectors to purchase, this is a rather ingenious way of launching a smartphone and could potentially attract more people due to the popularity of the platform.

Samsung isn’t new to the Metaverse by all means, as it has launched its 837X virtual world back in CES 2022, could this be a sign of the tech company for the Metaverse and continue developing products and services for it, or does it have anything to do with the future of Galaxy flagships?

More will be unveiled today at the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event starting at 11PM.
