Samsung will launch the Galaxy S9 phones on 25 February

Samsung has sent out media invites for the launch of the Galaxy S9 phones which will be held on 25 February in Barcelona. The smartphone maker is set to launch both the S9 and S9 Plus which will supposedly come with the latest Exynos 9810 processor and the Snapdragon 845 processor.

The invite comes with a slogan that says “The Camera, Reimagined” which indicates that the S9 phones will come with improved camera technology. Based on current leaks, the phones are said to come with 18.5:9 Infinity display with reduced bezels and the fingerprint sensor is now in a better position under the camera. The S9 is said to come with a single camera setup, while the S9 Plus comes with a dual-camera setup.

There will be an increase in performance over the S8 with the new processors and advanced software that will be in the S9 phones. Reports have also indicated that the phone will be open for pre-orders one day after the event with units shipping on March 16 to customers.
