The Note 7 saga will come to an end next Monday as a person familiar with the matter has told Reuters that Samsung will be revealing its results of the investigation into the Note 7’s tendency to explode without warning.
While the specifics of the Note 7 investigation will not be revealed until the report is either published or announced, the person who spoke to Reuters confirmed that the cause behind the explosions that the Note 7 is indeed attributed to the battery. Said person further revealed that Samsung has managed to replicate the fires during its investigation and claims that the cause doesn’t seem to stem from either the hardware design or software of the smartphone.
Seeing as Samsung is looking to launch the Galaxy S8 in April, many investors and analysts have mentioned that Samsung must provide a convincing and detailed explanation about the Note 7’s flaws. Should Samsung fail to do so, it’ll most certainly impact its trust with the consumers.
