Samsung set to reveal the Galaxy C series next week

A couple of weeks back, we’ve gotten a few rumors of an alleged new alphabet to Samsung’s Galaxy lineup. The Galaxy C series have been in the rumor mill for a while now and looks like Samsung is gearing up for their release in Beijing next week.

The launch, which is exactly a week for now, is slated to be of the Galaxy C5 and C7, both of which had leaks which have headed our way and captured our attention. Both handsets are said to carry a budget price tag with pretty impressive mid-range specs. Both the C5 and C7 are rumored to sport 1080p displays of 5.2 inches and 5.7 inches respectively. The phones are also reported to feature metal unibodies which will largely remind you of the HTC One series.

On top of that, we’re expecting to see a Snapdragon 617 underneath the hood of both devices, along with a more than sufficient 4GB of RAM for multi-tasking goodness. Both the Galaxy C5 and C7 are said to pack a camera pair of 16MP and 8MP, which shouldn’t disappoint, given the reputation of Samsung Galaxy cameras. Let’s just wait for the event next Thursday, shall we?
