Samsung might be revealing the S9 and S9 Plus during CES 2018

It looks like fans of Samsung will not have to wait as long as expected to see the launch of the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. Based on a report, the new flagship phones are being readied for a surprise CES 2018 tease based on reports from VentureBeat.

The reports also indicate that they will look almost the same as the S8 and S8 Plus, but there are some significant changes which include, the Snapdragon 845, AKG stereo speakers and a location change for the fingerprint sensor to under the camera rather than next to it. The S9 Plus might also be getting a dual-camera setup. Although we might see the phone during CES 2018, we should expect that the phone will come out the same time as the S8 phones as the reveal is just a tease.

Samsung previously teased the S8 phones during MWC 2017 in February and it would seem that they are ready to show it a month earlier but nevertheless, we should still expect a March 2018 launch for both the S8 and S8 Plus phones.
