Samsung Malaysia will start accepting preorders of the Galaxy S8 on April 11

Malaysia is definitely one of Samsung’s important smartphone markets, and Samsung Malaysia’s VP of IT and Mobile, Lee Jui Siang, has confirmed with Lowyat.NET that the company will be taking preorders of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus starting from April 11-13, while actual availability is also said to be very close to the US launch date at March 21. According to Lee, Samsung Malaysia Electronics will be putting up an attractive bundle offer for the preorder, which we can assume that the new Gear VR or a wireless charging pad could be part of the deal, actual details will finally be revealed when the launch date gets closer.

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be offered in colours of Midnight Black, Maple Gold, and Orchid Gray in Malaysia, and we are sadly not getting the other two colors – Coral Blue and Arctic Silver – at launch, no pricing has been teased just yet but we can expect the Galaxy S8 to be priced above RM3,000, so get ready your wallets for it if you have been waiting for its arrival.
