We just reported back then that Samsung has announced its thinnest smartphone, the Galaxy A8. Now, we’ve just received an invitation from the local Samsung folks to witness the phone’s launch coming up next week, the Galaxy A8 is another ambitious phone from the Korean manufacturer after the Galaxy S6.
The Galaxy A series have been famous for its metal build quality and Samsung has continued to deliver that on the Galaxy A8, packing under the hood of the 5.9mm slim body is a Snapdragon 615 Octa Ocre processor paired to 2GB of RAM, the phone comes with an option of either 16GB or 32GB of internal memory and supports Micro SD expansion. Interestingly, Samsunghas fitted the Galaxy A8 with a rather impressive 16-megapixel f/1.9 main camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter which should take really good pictures in low light conditions.
