Samsung Malaysia introduces Galaxy Forever phone upgrade program

Samsung Malaysia is introducing an easier way to own and upgrade to the next Galaxy smartphone with its Galaxy Forever program, the program promises up to 50% of savings on a new device when you return your existing Galaxy smartphone, while you get to enjoy a 36-month interest-free installment plan.

The program is open to the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, while your next phone upgrade needs to have a RRP of RM4000, and if you decide not to upgrade after 12 months, you can continue paying the remaining installment and keep using the device.

Also, depending on the condition of your device, Samsung Malaysia will reevaluate the trade up value when you decide to upgrade the phone, while non-operational and cracked screen devices are not eligible for the upgrade rebate.

This concept is rather similar to Maxis Zerolution 360, a 24-month contract program from the telco that has been ceased by the telco, it is rather beneficial if you are someone that upgrades your smartphone every year and don’t want to worry about your phone’s resell value.

The Galaxy Forever program is now live until 31 December 2025, and you can find out more here.
