Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy Note 9 on August 9th

Its that time of the year again and we are about to see the next wave of flagships coming to us, Samsung has uploaded a teaser video on YouTube hinting the next Galaxy Unpacked event which could still happen in the US this round, while there hasn’t been any hint of what groundbreaking features that the Note 9 could have, we are assuming that Samsung is going to have a number of new S-Pen tricks on the stylus’ button.

As with previous reports, the Galaxy Note 9 will be the most powerful flagship that the company has ever produced and is expected to come with 8GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage, design wise we should expect a minor update from the current Note 8 with slimmer screen bezels and probably the same camera from the Galaxy S9+, which Samsung is sure to promote the dual aperture tech, but let’s hope Samsung could make things even better this round.

The Galaxy Note series has always been Samsung’s true flagship of the year, with last year’s Galaxy Note 8 experimenting dual cameras that takes great telephoto shots, there has also been other rumors that the company is removing its Iris recognition feature and replaced it with a sophisticated face recognition technology for phone security. As for now, expect more leaks to come in as we anticipate the arrival of August 9th, seems like a good date that signifies the move from Note 8 to Note 9, don’t you think?
