Samsung introduces the Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus to the Malaysian market

Samsung Malaysia has introduced the Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus to the Malaysian market designed mainly for adventurous users who want to capture every moment. It comes with features that adventures look for like IP68 certification and dual-front cameras to ensure every moment can be captured.

The dual front camera comes in a 16MP + 8MP configuration with an F1.9 aperture, users can swap between the cameras to get the perfect shot they want, from a close-up shot to a clear background image. Users can also take advantage of the Live Focus feature which allows users to adjust background blur after taking the shot. Users can customize the image with stickers and captions or use Food Mode with the rear 16MP camera to make your food stand out more for that perfect Instagram food shot.

For those of you that take videos will be happy to know that Samsung included Video Digital Image Stabilization technology to eliminate shaky videos. Other than that, there is a hyperlapse feature where users can create time-lapse videos to tell a long story in just seconds.

Specs wise the Galaxy A8 comes with a 5.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen, Exynos 7885 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 3,000mAh battery. While the Plus variant comes with a 6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen, similar Exynos 7885 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and a 3,500mAh battery.

Both the A8 and A8 Plus is now available for purchase in Malaysia with a price of RM1,799 and RM2,499 respectively. Both the devices will be available in three colours, Black, Gold and Orchid Gray.
