Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series goes official with Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays and IP68 water resistance

Alongside the Galaxy Z foldables, Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Tab S9 series, a premium tablet range that reshapes the landscape of the industry. Comprising of three models – Galaxy Tab S9, S9+ and S9 Ultra – the new line-up employs Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays, Qualcomm Snapdragon® 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, and an in-box, IP68-rated S Pen, offering a seamless blend of immersive viewing, creative freedom, and resilient construction.

Portability Meets Immersive Entertainment

The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, with its 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, boasts HDR10+ for scene-by-scene optimization and a dynamic refresh rate that automatically calibrates from 60 to 120Hz. Eye Comfort technology reduces blue light by over 70%, while the device’s 16:10 aspect ratio enhances the viewing experience.

A 20% larger quad speaker system, the AKG speaker system, and Dolby Atmos immersive sound enhance the entertainment experience on the Galaxy Tab S9 series. The Vision Booster technology automatically adapts the screen to bright lighting conditions for outdoor viewing, and the Smart Book Cover allows for hands-free viewing in both portrait and landscape orientations.

Redefining Performance and Gaming

The sleek Galaxy Tab S9 series, powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, introduces advanced vapor chamber technology for the first time in a Galaxy tablet. This powerful innovation allows for seamless streaming, gaming, and video editing experiences.

Embrace Effortless Creativity

The Galaxy Tab S9 series, along with the IP68-rated Galaxy S Pen, allows users to capture and express their ideas anywhere. The S Pen features bidirectional charging and a wider tilt angle in the S Pen Creator Edition for an intuitive creating experience.

With Multi Window and Pop-Up View features, the Galaxy Tab S9 series allows users to manage up to three apps in an organized grid or as floating windows, facilitating efficient multitasking.

The Galaxy Tab S9 series’ Book Cover Keyboard and DeX Mode recreate a desktop experience with tablet portability, offering flexible window resizing and positioning, and second screen capabilities to mirror or extend the PC screen to the tablet.

The Galaxy Tab S9 series, the go-to tool for creative portfolios, is also the exclusive launch platform for the Android version of the popular GoodNotes app. Other apps, like LumaFusion and Clip Studio Paint, are optimized for the expansive screen of the Galaxy Tab S9 series, making content creation more precise.

Seamless Integration and Premium Design

The Galaxy Tab S9 series integrates seamlessly into the Galaxy ecosystem, enabling effortless control between tablet and smartphone. The device also features design elements from the flagship Galaxy S series smartphones, with the durability of an IP68 rating and Armor Aluminum reinforcement.
