Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 will not come with a fingerprint sensor, uses Intelligent Scan for security

With the Android tablet market having a lack of devices, we can only turn to Apple for good tablets. However, with the release of the MediaPad M5, that might and encourage more manufacturers to follow. We do know that Samsung is releasing the Galaxy Tab S4 which could rival the iPad.

Speaking of rivalling the iPad, information has surfaced that the Galaxy Tab S4 will come with a facial scanning hardware called Intelligent Scan which was seen in the Galaxy S9 and S9+. We heard similar news from Apple that their new iPad Pros will come with Face ID, the same technology that is being used on the iPhone X. Whats more interesting is that Samsung is completing ditching the fingerprint scanner on their upcoming Galaxy Tab S4, as they said that their intelligent scanner will determine the lighting of the surrounding and decide if it should use the face scanner or iris scanner to unlock the device.

A lot of facts surrounding this tablet is unclear, but we do know from a leak that the tablet will come with a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM and the S-Pen. What do you think about Samsung following in the footsteps of Apple and ditching the fingerprint sensor for facial recognition?
