If you are looking to experience the power of the new Snapdragon 845 then you might have to look into getting the new Samsung flagships phones next year, as reports have hinted that the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be the first phones that are equipped with the new processor.
There is also a high chance, that you might have to go over to the US to get the phones, seeing as how they release the Exynos version of the S8 here but a Snapdragon version in the US. These reports are made more solid, due to the fact that back in August Samsung has already bought up almost all the Snapdragon 845 processors for their next year flagship phones. This move is not uncommon for the Korean company, as with the S8, they bought up all the Snapdragon 835 chips forcing LG to use the 821 chips in their LG G6 phones. Other companies had to push their launches to a later date to ensure that there is enough supply to manufacture their phones.
The same reports also indicated that the S9 phones will be launching a month earlier, so we can expect these phones to be out in the market mid-March. However, all of this is still rumours and we will know more when MWC comes around in February 2018
