Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus now available in limited Rose Pink

Samsung has been known to add new color options to its flagship smartphone models for quite some time now. Last year saw the Galaxy S7 series with new paint jobs across the year, in attempts to make up some ground for the Galaxy Note 7 crisis. This year’s Galaxy S8 Plus has also seen some new colors, the latest addition being Rose Pink, which is only limited to select regions.

By select regions we are only referring to Samsung’s home ground South Korea and fellow Asian country Taiwan, both of which are the only countries confirmed so far to get the Rose Pink model of the Galaxy S8 Plus. This color model is also said to be sold for a limited time, creating a sense of urgency for potential buyers given the fact that Rose Gold and Rose Pink smartphones typically sell well.

The Rose Pink Galaxy S8 Plus sports the same spec sheet like an ordinary S8 Plus you find out there. It comes with the exception of a different processor underneath the hood – Samsung’s own Exynos 8895 chipset instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, since it is region specific.

We can’t be certain whether or not this Rose Pink model of the Galaxy S8 Plus will be available in other regions in the future other than the ones mentioned above. Would you be interested in a Rose Pink S8 Plus?
