Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: Images leaked showing curved display and S Pen support

This is apparently the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in all its glory, and these leaked images solidifies what we’ve known through renders and sketches.

These images were shared by FrontPageTech, who managed to snag a hold of the actual device itself.

What immediately stands out to us about the Galaxy S22 Ultra is the curved display that looks quite similar to that on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. In fact, with the center-mounted punch hole camera and lanky frame, you’d be forgiven for thinking this is the latter at first glance.

The biggest aesthetic change is seen on the back panel where Samsung shifts away from the usual camera island design, and instead marries the lenses to the back panel itself.

Like previously reported, the Galaxy S22 Ultra also packs an S Pen stylus and it comes with the housing for it too – its predecessor, the S21 Ultra toyed with this idea by allowing the phone to support the stylus, but you’ll need a phone case that stores the pen.

We guess it looks like Samsung is finally merging the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series together.

We don’t know enough about the phone’s specs, but according to GSMArena, the phone will sport the same camera system as the Galaxy S21 Ultra – think 108MP main lens, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and two 10MP telephoto cameras.

We’ll likely only see the new Galaxy S22 series arrive early next year, so stay tuned on our website as we bring you more updates.
