Samsung Galaxy S22+ leaked Snapdragon 898 benchmarks

As you may already know, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series are expected to launch early next year, specifically 8 February 2022 at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Rumours and leaks have already been going around, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the Galaxy S22 series. We have already covered the leaks for Galaxy S22 and S22 Ultra, but what about the S22+?

Samsung flagships are usually released with two different system-on-chips (SoCs) – Exynos and Snapdragon – depending on the market. With the S22+ model number being “SM-S906U”, it is indicated that the US version of the phone will be running on a Snapdragon 898.

As shown on the leaked benchmarks, the phone scores 1163 in the single-core test and 2728 in the multi-core test respectively. The listing further shows that the phone runs on Android 12 with 8 GB of RAM. Even though it is likely that Malaysia will be getting the Exynos variant, it is still interesting to see the Snapdragon variant in the works.

We won’t have to wait long now as the Samsung Galaxy S22 series are set to launch at February 2022, so stay tuned on our website as we bring you more updates.
