Now, Samsung have announced that a few of those features will also be making its way to the Galaxy S10 series. The most important update in our books would be support for Samsung DeX – which lets you connect your phone to your PC and control it with a desktop-like interface. Available on Windows and Mac, a program needs to be downloaded from the Samsung DeX website – then simply link your Galaxy phone to your computer with a cable and voila – you can now access files, drag and drop to transfer and more all on your desktop.

Other features appearing on the Galaxy S10 are additions to the camera software – most notable AR Doodle, which lets you draw virtual objects on your subject matter; night mode for your selfie camera, Live Focus video recording which lets you add filters and bokeh effects to your films, and a bolstered video editing suite in your gallery app.

These updates have been rolling out in Europe already, so it shouldn’t be long before Malaysians get it too. Stick around for updates on when it’ll arrive.
