The Samsung Galaxy Note FE goes official for the price of RM2,599

If you can’t afford the Galaxy Note8, and you just don’t want to buy the ageing Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Malaysia has just made the Galaxy Note Fan Edition (FE) available here and unlike back in its homeland, the Galaxy Note FE doesn’t come in limited numbers, while the company did state that there may be cases of stock shortage at this point of time, customers can always check with Samsung Experience Stores and resellers for stock availability starting from 25 October onwards.

The Galaxy Note FE is technically a revamped version of the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7, which the company has reused and recycle parts from the Note 7, it now comes with a new smaller 3200mAh battery, and has gone through the company’s stringent 8-point battery check process to ensure no explosions ever happen again. Also new to the Galaxy Note FE is software, it now comes with Bixby Home and Bixby Reminder which is currently present on the Galaxy Note 8. Otherwise, specs remain pretty much the same as the Galaxy Note 7, it has a Exynos 8890 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB of storage, a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, a dual pixel 12-megapixel camera with OIS and front 5-megapixel f/1.7 camera, IP68 water resistance and built-in fast wireless charging.

The Galaxy Note FE will retail for RM2599 and is available in colors of Coral Blue and Black Onyx, which is a great alternative if you don’t want to pay that much for the Galaxy Note 8 for the sake of the S-Pen.
