A new rumor out of South Korea has claimed Samsung is planning to launch a smaller Galaxy Note 10e model alongside the regular Galaxy Note 10 in August. If the rumor is accurate, it would be the very first time that Samsung will be releasing not one but two new Galaxy Note devices simultaneously.
The smaller Galaxy Note 10e model will apparently cater to consumers who want the functionality of the regular Note in a more manageable size. However, the report suggests the smaller Galaxy Note 10e may only be launched in Europe. The fact that the “compact” Galaxy S10e has been very well-received in Europe may have something to do with the decision.
Similar to the Galaxy S10e, you shouldn’t expect the Galaxy Note 10e to be very affordable. Even though it will be priced lower than the regular Galaxy Note 10, it is still expected to be more expensive than flagship phones from manufacturers such as OnePlus or Xiaomi.
The regular Galaxy Note 10 is rumored to sport a 6.7-inch Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display with dual selfie cameras. Just like last year’s Galaxy Note 9, the Galaxy Note 10 is expected to be largely similar to the Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10 5G models in terms of hardware specifications. That said, we can expect it to come with at least a few new features, including an improved S Pen.
