Samsung Galaxy Note 10 may offer 50W fast charging, suggests new leak

Samsung finally released its first smartphones supporting faster than 15W charging earlier this year. The company’s latest and greatest offerings such as the Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy Fold support 25W “Super Fast Charging”. According to Chinese leakster Ice Universe, the company’s next flagship device, Galaxy Note 10 will support charging speeds faster than 25W.

While the leakster did not divulge any specific details, he mentioned in his tweet that battery capacity and charging speed will not be Samsung’s weakness starting from the Galaxy Note 10. Since a few Chinese smartphone makers are already shipping their flagship models with 50W or higher chargers in the box, it is likely that the Galaxy Note 10 will have support for up to 50W fast charging.

If the leakster’s information is accurate, the Galaxy Note 10 will likely be a significant upgrade over last year’s Galaxy Note 9. Despite some weaknesses, the Galaxy Note 9 was among the most impressive flagship smartphones to have been released in 2018.

According to a recent rumor, the “Pro” version of the Galaxy Note 10 is expected to pack a massive 4500mAh capacity battery. Combined with more efficient components under the hood, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 10 should be capable of delivering more impressive battery life than any previous Galaxy flagship.
