Samsung doubles the battery life in the new Galaxy Fit2

The Samsung Galaxy Fit2 is the company’s latest fitness band that succeeds the Galaxy Fit. Now, the Galaxy Fit2 features a bigger display and a longer battery life.

Larger display in the lightweight tracker

The Galaxy Fit2 now features a 1.1-inch full colour AMOLED display paired with a 3D curved glass. Weighing at 21g, the Fit2 is a lightweight tracker that comes with a photo plethysmography sensor, gyro sensor and an accelerometer.

Advanced fitness features + health monitoring

Apart from being able to auto-detect fitness activities, the Fit2 also has an IP68 and 5ATM ratings so users can also track their swimming workouts. The tracker is able to auto-detect five activities — walking, running, dynamic workouts, elliptical training and rowing machines. With up to 21 days of battery life, the tracker doesn’t need frequent charging which is convenient for daily usage, especially for those who’d like to track their sleep date and stress levels.
