Samsung Galaxy A90 Will Sport a No-Notch ‘New Infinity’ Display

Samsung is expected to introduce new additions to its Galaxy A-series lineup at the “a Galaxy event” on April 10. Ahead of the launch event next month, Samsung Indonesia accidentally revealed one of the headline features of the upcoming Galaxy A90: a “maxed out Notchless Infinity screen”. Spotted by the folks over at GalaxyClub, the page has now been removed by Samsung.

The smartphone seen in the image above is quite clearly not the Galaxy A90. However, the text on the side of the smartphone teases the Galaxy A90’s ‘New Infinity’ screen. Being the flagship offering under Samsung’s Galaxy A-series for 2019, the Galaxy A90 will be the only one to have a Notchless Infinity screen. The other upcoming A-series smartphones, including the Galaxy A60, are expected to come with Infinity-U displays.

A Notchless Infinity screen does not mean the Galaxy A90 will have a punch-hole for the selfie camera like the Galaxy S10 series phones. Even though it hasn’t been officially confirmed, rumors suggest the Galaxy A90 will have a motorized pop-up camera design. The rest of its hardware specifications, however, are yet to be leaked online.

The Galaxy A90 will probably run on Qualcomm’s 10nm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. When it comes to software, we expect it to ship with Android Pie-based One UI out of the box.
