One of the most exciting devices to arrive this year is the Samsung Galaxy A80, part in due to its rotating camera module. Announced back in April in Bangkok, the phone is touted to arrive to Malaysia soon, as popular retailer DirectD had revealed the pre-order price of the device on their Faecbook page.
In the post, DirectD claims that the ETA of arrival is expected to be 13 July, while the phone starts at a pre-order price of RM2,499.
The phone sports a massive 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display that features no notches. At the back, you’ll find a glossy glass panel accented with a metal frame.
Here comes to fun part – the triple rear camera also serves as the front camera. When selfie mode is activated, the back panel rises – à la Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 – and the 48MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, and depth sensor rotate 180-degrees to the front.
Under the hood, the Galaxy is touted to come with a Snapdragon 730, that’s paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. Powering the phone is a surprisingly small 3,700mAh battery and supports Super Fast Charge.
The phone looks to be a decent upper-mid-ranger, and it won’t be long until we can get our hands on the device to see if its worth its money.
